Meet Jorge Porras, Owner of the Blue Line K-9 TX

In 2022 Jorge brought his love of humor, commitment for doing what is right and inspiring drive for serving others to the Blue Line K 9 Dog Training franchise team, as the owner of our Blue Line K-9 dog training Katy Tx & k9 training houston Location. He specializes in behavior modification, rehabilitation and obedience training with a gift for seeing the dog no one else thought was possible.

Jorge joins us with a 20 year background in the culinary industry which he credits for learning the impact an individual can have "You have a direct impact for good or for bad on the outcome, you become part of the process and that makes the difference. From concept to plating to running a full kitchen it's all part of the process that builds magic like experiences for the customers."

When Jorge saw a video about starting a mobile dog daycare katy tx and instantly thought- "this is a dream job- playing with dogs all day while serving people by solving problems." Jorge devoted his time to learning all stages of the dog care industry by asking questions and getting his hands dirty.

His first position was as a kennel tech where he quickly learned the ropes. After an opportunity to try out training, Jorge formed a connection with training dogs and working with their owners. He discovered a passion for showing people the magic of applying structure, consistency and most importantly patience.

His favorite part of the training experience is providing the "how" for dog owners, showing them what's possible for their dog. "It's all about developing the skills and everyone can learn the basics and grow from there."

It’s Jorge’s love of service and work ethic that make him such a valuable part of our Blue Line K-9 family.
